Calypso Support Analyst
Calypso Support Analyst - NetherlandsCalypso Support Analyst is required for 6 month contract, As a support analyst you are responsible for the availability, quality and continuity of the automated processes of various specified financial information and production systems and their related interfaces, within the international Financial Markets environment. You also perform activities which are aimed to improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of application support. ITIL is used as the standard process management methodology. As support analyst in the you are responsible for the support on the Back Office systems and its users. The systems are used to support the processes related to the processing, confirmation, payment, settlement, reconciliation and archiving of trades.
You are responsible for the availability and continuity of the systems:
- You provide the functional application support to the customer on a day-to-day basis. This first and second line support is delivered both intraday and end-of-day during the business hours and is based on ITIL. The ITIL processes incident- and problem management are used to provide an adequate service level to the customer
- You contribute to the acceptance of new and/or revised financial information systems: You play an important role in the implementation of new or changed software. Steps that are necessary to comply this will be handled by you, such as acceptance testing, communication and implementation. The ITIL process change management is used to provide an adequate service level to the customer.
- You will participate in projects: You will be the representative of our department in projects. You will use your knowledge of the supported applications to provide the customer with a smooth implementation of new applications or new systems.
Skills & Experience
- Education on HBO level or equivalent;
- Knowledge of the Financial Markets business;
- Knowledge of and experience with ITIL process management;
- Depending on supported application environment: knowledge of Operating Systems (Unix, Wintel and/or Tandem) and Database Management Systems (Oracle, Sybase and/or MS-SQL);
- Depending on supported application environment: knowledge of Atlas, Calypso, Intellimatch, Documentum, City Networks suite, Euroclear, CLS/PayPlus;
- Depending on supported application environment: knowledge in supporting applications developed in Java, Magic. Cobol.
- Depending on supported application environment: knowledge in supporting applications interfaced by MQ, XFB, sFTP, XCOM and accessed via Citrix.
- Experience with supporting business critical information systems in a complex and heterogeneous application environment;
- Experience with the acceptance and implementation of new or revised software (release based tests and implementations);
- Willing to participate in scheduled shifts and off-site standby services;
- Good level of English, both spoken and written (knowledge of French language is a pro); Interviewing Immediately.
